Follow this “map” to take a tour of the sections and functionality in MAAPP.

Dashboard

After logging into MAAPP, you will see your MAAPP Dashboard, which shows you  metrics about the students at your college, including: 

  • How many have completed the MAAPP
  • How many have missing different residency or other personal documents
  • How many have Enrollment Verification Requests (multiple aid years)
  • How many have Grade Verification Requests (multiple aid years)
  • How many have FAITH Award Information Requests (multiple aid years)
  • How many have Dependency Status Verification Requests (multiple aid years)
  • How many have award offers by program (multiple aid years)
  • How much aid has been offered by program (multiple aid years)
  • How much aid has been paid by program (multiple aid years)

Students

If you click on Students on the left-hand sidebar, you can see a list of all the students at your college who have filed either a MAAPP or a FAFSA for the selected aid year.

If you click on a student’s name, you will be able to see the Student Details Panel. 

Student Details Panel

The Student Detail Panel consists of multiple tabs that show you virtually the same view as what the student sees from his/her own dashboard.  There are multiple tabs within the Student Details Panel: 

  • Overview Tab – Includes a checklist of application Milestones and Missing Documents
  • Applicant Tab – Contains the student’s demographic information as provided on the MAAPP or FAFSA
  • Academic Tab – Displays the student’s high school and college information
  • FERPA Tab – Displays the student’s FERPA release information as provided on the MAAPP
  • Documents Tab – Lists all the supporting documents requested for the student, the status of the document, the date it was requested, the date it was received, and the deadline by which each document must be received to qualify for the various programs
  • Awards Tab – Displays the program through which the student has been awarded (see Awards Process and Timeline)
  • Enrollment Tab – Displays the enrollment records received for the student for a selected aid year and allows enrollment records to be added for the student. Click the blue “Add Enrollment Record” button to input the student data requested through the Enrollment Verification Request.  Learn more about Submitting and Verifying Student Information.   
  • Grades Tab – Displays the grade records received for the student for a selected aid year and allows grade records to be added for the student. Click the blue “Add Grade Record” button to input the student data requested through the Grade Verification Request.  Learn more about Submitting and Verifying Student Information
  • Package Tab – Displays the FAITH award package records received for the student for a selected aid year and allows award package records to be added for the student. Click the blue “Add Award Package” button to input the student data requested through the FAITH Award Information Request.  Learn more about Submitting and Verifying Student Information
  • Messages Tab – Displays all messages sent to the student during a given aid year. 

Awards

See a list of students at your college who have been offered awards for a selected aid year.  You can see the term for which the award was offered, the program, and the status (offered, paid, cancelled, etc.) of the award. 

Reports

See a list of the students at your college along with numerous filters which you can  use to create shorter lists of students who meet certain criteria. 

Export your reports by clicking on the blue “Export Report” button in the top right-hand corner.

Activity Log

See a history of the actions you have taken in MAAPP, such as when you logged in and out, when you signed your Certification Statement, and when you updated student information. 

Participation Agreement

View a copy of your college’s Participation Agreement that allows you to access MAAPP, see who signed the Participation Agreement, and see when it was signed. 

Settings

Access and update your personal settings.

  • Change your email address or password
  • Change your role (Financial Aid Director, Financial Aid Administrator, Financial Aid Viewer, etc.) 
  • Change your college if you change institutions.  If you update your college, you will lose all access to the old institution and have to be authorized by the Financial Aid Director of the new institution. Learn more about Unlocking MAAPP Dashboard Access

View your document share portal pin, which you will need to access and upload student eligibility files.  Learn more about Submitting and Verifying Student Information

Unlock access to MAAPP. Request an account and sign the Participation Agreement or Certification Statement.
