Homeschool Transcripts
An official transcript should be sent to our office for graduates from homeschool programs. This will be accepted in lieu of the Electronic High School Grade Verification. The official homeschool transcript must include all courses attempted, completed, or in progress and the unweighted GPA on a 4.0 scale.
If you are unable to request an official homeschool transcript from your program, one may be submitted by the homeschool administrator. The transcript must include all high school courses attempted, completed, or in program and the unweighted GPA on a 4.0 scale. The transcript must also be signed and notarized. Only one final transcript will be accepted and evaluated by the Office.
Transcripts should be mailed or emailed if using an electronic transcript service.
Certified Core Curriculum
The official homeschool transcript will be reviewed by our office to determine if the student meets the Certified Core Curriculum required for the HELP Grant. For additional information concerning the HELP Grant, please visit www.msfinancialaid.org/help.
Please ensure you have added all coursework before submitting the homeschool transcript. Once evaluated for the HELP Grant, additional transcripts will not be accepted.
Official ACT/SAT Score Report
Homeschool students should submit a copy of the official ACT/SAT Score Report. Scores from residual tests will not be accepted.
ACT scores can be submitted via mail, email, or fax. Please include student’s last four of social on the document.
