The offices of the Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning have experienced a network security incident. Services at the Mississippi Office of Student Financial Aid have been impacted by this incident. No impact to any individual higher educational institution has been reported. External cybersecurity professionals have been engaged to determine what, if any, confidential or sensitive data may have been accessed or compromised. At this time, the investigation is in its earliest stage.

A student may submit a formal request for an exception if they lose aid. You can only appeal if you fall below full-time enrollment due to a major life event. You cannot appeal residency, academic requirements, or deadlines. You can find more information on the appeal process in “Appeal Process.”
