The offices of the Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning have experienced a network security incident. Services at the Mississippi Office of Student Financial Aid have been impacted by this incident. No impact to any individual higher educational institution has been reported. External cybersecurity professionals have been engaged to determine what, if any, confidential or sensitive data may have been accessed or compromised. At this time, the investigation is in its earliest stage.

These courses count for both high school and college credit. This can save time and money in pursuing a college degree. Students who have not yet graduated from high school but are taking college coursework are not eligible for state aid programs unless they are fully admitted as regular students and qualify for federal student aid.
