The Mississippi Office of Student Financial Aid has returned to normal operations and full functionality following a network security incident. We are working to process all applications for student financial aid that have been submitted to us as well as any outstanding payments. We have also re-established secure services with each of our individual higher education institutions. We regret the inconvenience caused by the network security incident.
A leave of absence is a period of time approved by the school during which the student is not in attendance but remains enrolled. Each school is required to have a formal leave-of-absence policy. The student must follow the policy when requesting a leave of absence. The school must approve the student’s request in accordance with the policy. The student’s request must be in writing.
